The bistros and bakeries of Paris are known the world over for their rustic and hearty sweets. In this one day, hands-on class you can turn your kitchen into a French bakery. You will learn about several of the most popular sweets of the bistro kitchen and can prepare a few of them side-by-side with our chef instructors.
On the Menu:
Pear Tarte Tatin with Lavender Whipped Cream, Pistachio Macaron with Cherry Buttercream, Individual Chocolate Soufflés with Butter-Rum Sauce, Savarin/ Babas with Vanilla-Lillet Syrup and Mixed Berries
What to Wear:
When you arrive on campus you will receive an apron and a hat. Please wear long pants and anti-slip shoes. Shorts, skirts or torn clothing is not permitted. Open toe and/or high heeled shoes are not permitted. For your safety, please limit jewelry to a watch and a wedding band. Hair must be pulled back at all times while cooking.
What to Bring:
All you need to bring is your passion for cooking! We will provide knives and all equipment needed.
What you Receive:
Every participant receives an embroidered Bleu Ribbon Kitchen apron to take home.
• Refunds are available up to 7 days in advance of a class date. Less than 7 days we are happy to issue you a store credit for a future reservation.
• 72 hours prior to class date: Store credit will be issued less 25% the cost of class. Refunds are not available.
• If Bleu Ribbon Kitchen cancels a class for any reason, at any time, the customer is entitled to store credit or a full refund.
• All Reservations processed using a 3rd party voucher from Rue La La, TravelZoo or Groupon are final. At this point, a coupon should be considered redeemed for the purchase value. They are not eligible for reschedule, store credit or refund. If you are unable to attend the class that has already been booked, you may send someone else in your place but will not be able to reschedule.
•Gift Certificates are refundable up to 7 days after date of purchase. Gift Certificates are transferable.
